The owners were very nice and friendly without being too much. Our room was fine it’s close to the pleasure park about 10 minute stroll and the beach just over the road we had a sea view and looked out over the lights. We had plenty of tea coffee and milk in our room. The room was clean and fresh and the cost was good. The stairs are steep up to the rooms no lift but someone offered to take our bags up. So not a problem. Very nice experience.

We ate at weatherspoons just beyond the pleasure park. It was cheap the food was ok and we were served fast. The breakfast was ok. The tram ran just over the road and that went straight down the sea front stopping at various landmarks. There was parking outsIde the hotel but that was busy we parked on the main road £1 an hour free from 8pm -10am. A very good spot.

Just upset by lack of facilities which is the reason we booked this hotel. And no breakfast option. However it was a very good location and super clean and comfy.

The couple who owns the place went above and beyond for my 30th birthday balloons banners flowers etc. the hotel was cosey clean had everything we needed! The staff accommodated us the best they could with parking which meant the owner moved her own car just so we could park. 1000% id stay again and will be returning! I’m normally a fussy person who has some thing to say but I had the best weekend away me and my partner. So thank you for being friendly kind helpful,

We went to the magicians show the zoo and circus during our weekend their all which was amazing!

Absolutely 10/10 we would love to stay again - the service was great/ the room had a great view and everything you could possibly need/ the continental and cooked breakfasts were lush and the puppy was v cute!! 😊

I'd highly recommend going on a Saturday night to the Comedy Station Comedy Club - it is within walking distance but they have a taxi if you prefer and it truly is as good as the reviews!

Travelling as a couple,this was a very clean hotel. Room was on the top floor without a sea view but spent a very little time in the room so it didn't matter. It was very quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. Room had tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer. You can request additional toiletries for a small charge. Location was a little further than expected from central Blackpool but the tram stop is very close. Great hotel location if you want to spend time at the Pleasure Beach and the Sandcastle waterpark. There is free on street parking beside the hotel and the side streets. We didn't have breakfast and didn't see it offered.

During our stay, for 3 nights, we really only needed to have contact with our host's when arriving and departing. But felt they were always available if required. On the day we arrived, Jim informed us there was a repair being carried out on the hot water system. The job was completed that day, we were out but were kept informed by text. No complaints,great service and great host's. 🙂

If arriving by train, get the Blackpool South train and get off at Pleasure Beach stop. Then a 3 minute walk to hotel. Tram stop outside hotel with regular (every 15 mins) service right through to Fleetwood. £6 for an adult all day ticket. Could be a lovely walk, but it poured down the 3 days we were there. We were just unlucky.☹

This is perfect for familys, we arrived 2 adults and 2 children (9 + 7) for 1 night for a blackpool break the hosts are so welcoming and make you feel part of their family, kids loved playing with their adorable puppy they also had an air hockey table set up for kids to play with. The place was absolutely spotless and comfortable, we had a beautiful family room that looked out to the beach. We will definitely book here again for our next trip and will look happy to see the hosts again.

Lovely warm welcome upon arrival and our bags were taken to our room by very polite young man. The room had great Seaview and perfect for our stay.Nice and clean with host tray. Both hosts are the most friendliness people, they went above and beyond to makes us comfortable and we felt at home!

So ocean Bay is on the promenade and not far from attractions. My advise is get the tram for travelling back and forth all day for 6 pounds a day, also its not far to walk if you prefer, the sea is literally across the road, the staff at the b&b are always there if you need them! 😀

Nothing was too much trouble for the manager. A quiet hotel with recently decorated rooms. We enjoyed our stay, we had a great seaview, could watch the trams. The room wasn't really big but it was perfect for what we required. We could come and go when we liked. Thank you.

The owners here are really lovely always welcoming and friendly, I came with my husband, my son and his friend so wanted a room to be able To accommodate that and they gave us a fabulous room which had a dividing wall so we still had privacy. The breakfast was lovely you can choose a full breakfast or the continental. There is a few games there so the boys could play pool or air hockey after we got back from busy days that was great as the boys still had energy but I needed rest, there’s also a tv area, and a front conservatory to watch the world go by. The property is on the front so sea views are really nice.

Blackpool is full of things to do but I would recommend coral island as it has a pub/restaurant where under 10’s eat free. No shortage of places to choose for food if you don’t want to eat in arcade it can be very busy. If you want night life ( no kids ) I recommend shannanigans great Irish bar near the tower ! We can’t wait to return again next year and will 100% be returning to ocean bay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the OceanBay. Staff were so helpful and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The twin room we had was small but functional, clean and well presented. I have only one mild criticism in that the paid breakfast was quite basic and not competitively priced. (A full English without bacon?) It would have been an added bonus feature and completely satisfactory if the breakfast had been included in the room price.

Due to it's location, we used the tram service at least twice every day of our stay to get to Central and North Pier. We found it great value to get a day saver, or if you are staying longer than our 3 day visit, I would advise getting a multi journey saver.

Blackpool pleasure beach is about a five minute walk, and lots of restaurants about 10 minutes down the prom! Casa blanco Italian was absoloutly gorgeous and abit 15 minutes from the hotel. South pier also about 10 minutes from the hotel

We booked Ocean bay for 6 days in Blackpool it was a lovely peaceful experience the rooms were neat and clean away from the the hustle and bustle but also easy to commute into the action as the tram is just 4minute walk from the hotel the hotel services was fantastic they are capable of providing all you need and make your stay very comfortable we really enjoyed their services lovely people.

Just request for everything you as they provide everything. I highly recommend to anyone going to Blackpool with family or friends.

The only 2 downsides and only 2 is there’s no bar or evening meals other than that I have no complaints the room was stunning with a stunning sunset view in the evenings. They fulfilled my special request of decorating the room so appreciate that! Would definitely stay here again.

Ocean Bay was situated perfectly to everything needed but just far enough away that you got a decent night's sleep .only a 5 minute walk to shops a 10 minute walk to pleasure Beach and south pier. Sue and Jim were so welcoming and offered help and advice for things to do on my trip . The hotel was clean and comfortable 😌 will definitely stay again !

The hotel has a tram stop right outside so can easily take a tram to the far end of Blackpool. Ocean Bay is a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to South pier and pleasure Beach.... everything you need on the doorstep buy just far enough out that its quiet to get a good night's sleep.

If you are using the tram a lot buy a 24 hours travel ticket It cost us £2.80 for each trip .. no matter how far... but a 24 hour ticket was £5 which is a lot cheaper

We had a sea view which was lovely opening the curtains and waking up to. The room was very spacious & comfortable. Just perfect for us and the kids enjoyed playing pool & karaoke too. Great bar area and comfortable, cozy lounge. Will definitely recommend.

We found a lovely American diner along the strip called Lites Diner. Excellent food at a great price and very friendly staff. We visited the pleasure beach, Sandcastle Water Park, Blackpool Tower. We parked our cars at the beginning of the holiday and didnt use them again until we went home. The cars were parked safe and secure. This was great as we were able to walk everywhere as everything was so close by.

The Hotel was very cosy and well situated on South shore, Jim and sue were very friendly, the breakfast was lovely, there was a good choice of breakfast cereal, which was followed by a cooked breakfast if you wanted one, the young lady who served our breakfast was very pleasant and friendly, I would highly recommend the Ocean Bay Hotel if you prefer a quieter location.

The Ocean Bay Hotel is situated on South shore which is near South pier and pleasure Beach, the Weatherspoon pub and restaurant is about a ten minute walk from the hotel, and offers a good choice of food from the menu, and not too expensive, great for families!

Very clean and modern room, with en suite, flat screen tv, tea and coffee, and the hotel is on the seafront. Free parking outside when available, and a tram stop outside front of the hotel. Great breakfast, with plenty of choice. Owners are great, friendly, and nothing is too much for them. This is the only hotel we have returned to in Blackpool, and hope to return to again in September. Bar is well stocked, and there is air hockey for the kids. This was our second time staying at ocean bay. We had a wonderful stay and made very welcome and felt safe and homely. Will be staying again for sure and recommend to everyone we know.

Ocean bay is at south end past the pleasure beach and is a easy short tram ride to south pier and further for central. You can get group 24hr tickets which are beneficial for if there is more than 2 of you. Lots of places to eat around south, central and north. We ate at Dutton arms which was very much like weatherspoons. We also ate at Michael wans Mandarin restaurant at north end which was the best chinese we have ever had and it has won awards to prove how good it is. Lots to do on the piers and places to drink etc.

Lovely hotel and friendly owners. We stayed in a Family Room with Sea View for 3 and it was fab, really spacious, lots of storage and very clean. The bar was handy on a night and the dining room can be used on a night to eat your own food. Free parking outside the hotel subject to spaces available but we parked ok all weekend. We went to Blackpool FC bar to watch the England match and that was great. Blackpool Tower Eye and 4D cinema was great fun. We used the trams a few times and they are simple and easy and £2.10 per journey no matter how far down the line your going. There are menus in the dining room at the hotel for local takeaways, we used Just Eat to order and got it delivered and ate in the dining room with plates & cutlery provided. It was the perfect option for a night when we were too tired from walking to go out anywhere!

Upon arrival we were very happy to be told it would be free parking, right outside the hotel! Not a usual luxury in Blackpool. Owners were so nice, couldn’t have been more helpful. I and husband came for a weekend in Blackpool to celebrate our paper anniversary and the experience surpassed our expectations. We had a really nice stay at Ocean Bay which was pleasantly surprising as I was really skeptical about staying here because we usually use Premiere Inn, however the closest ones were fully booked by the time we booked. Sue was very kind and helpful, she's the perfect host. Her full English was quite good, sadly we only got to eat it just once. Missy who helped with the breakfast service - was a darling. If I have any complain it's that I found our room bit stuffy.

There's so much to do in Blackpool. The Pleasure Beach is a must go. I'd recommend the Blackpool Tower Dungeon and Blackpool Tower Eye.

Staff Scott and Jordan were friendly and welcoming hosts, Helpful too if you had an issue and sorted it out quickly. Had no problems with this little hotel at all, the room was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. Me and My boy never had breakfast on our stay, but it did smell nice one morning! wish I had at least 1 breakfast to try. I would stay here again as its in perfect location for the pleasure beach.

It is a lovely little hotel, very clean and tidy, stayed in a twin room with sea view which is a nice room, also clean and tidy. Never had breakfast on my stay so cant comment on this. Purpose of our stay was to be near the pleasure beach and its 5 mins away. Perfect. Also near the south pier which is good and lots of things to do.

Loved the hotel so much that we are only going to stay there my wife is fussy about hotels and the cleanest hotel we have stayed in. We where late on getting food delivered that they said to us that we good use the hotel dinning room if it arrived in time but it never so they left lights on for us while we waited on food arriving. So for us we are definitely coming back we will only stay at the acean bay hotel for sure sue and the team are brilliant and would recommend them to anyone who goes to Blackpool the best hotel in the place. 2nd October 2020:

Ocean Bay is situated in such an amazing location. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the main piers but close enough to walk to all the main attraction and with a team stop located just outside the hotel. My room, a double was spotless. Beautifully decorated with a full compliment of kettle, coffee etc and even products in the bathroom which was spotless also. The view from the windows was directly toward the beach - exactly what I wanted. The bed was so comfortable I had the best nights sleep in a while - that was a shock as I’m a dreadful sleeper normally. Sue and the staff could not have been more welcoming. I opted for the breakfast which when I came down was beyond what I expected with continental spread, a coffee machine with every kind of coffee imaginable and my cooked breakfast cooked just perfect. I needed a quiet break away with the option to sight see and Ocean Bay was the perfect choice. I definitely will be returning.

Ocean Bay is located just past the South Pier and the Pleasure Beach which is around a ten minute walk or the tram stop is directly outside which also takes you to Central and North Pier where the majority of bars, restaurants and cafes are located alongside the expected amusements, casinos etc. Everything really is able to be visited on foot and there is plenty to keep all ages occupied. ATMs are located everywhere and there are a handful of local shops around the hotel easily accessible by foot

Take a tram to north pier and walk back. So you won't miss anything. Better book the restaurant in advance. It's hard to find place to eat during this time. Bring winter clothes as the weather can change quickly around here. Don't eat at Casa Franco. It's not value for money at all. Better go further to north pier for good restaurants there.

This is my third time at the Ocean Bay Hotel. Jim and Sue are fantastic hotst. They will go out of their to help you. The facilities are great and the rooms are excellent and very, very clean. We had a fab room with seaview, wonderful view of the sea. The breakfast they provide is excellent, plenty of choice and fresh produce, yummy!!! The location is great and is nice and quiet. They have plenty of knowledge for attractions to see and restaurants to eat out. Transport links are located just across the road as well as the promenade. I would highly recommend this hotel for any length of time your stay is. Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Plenty of restaurants, just a couple of tram stops away and only a couple of stops away to the pleasure beach and sandcastle.

First class could not do enough for you . We where made so welcome even though we where late arriving. We called in advance and was told it was no bother. When we had electricity problems the managers helped us even it was after 11 pm we got it sorted very quickly so we are totally delighted by the staff and are extremely happy to return to a very spotless place and was a heart of gold they are fantastic people and hope too return soon and will recommend them to anyone going to Blackpool plus when we go back we will ask them if it is possible to come which in our eyes the place is fabulous and very close to everything you want. So to the staff thank you very much for a first class stay and hope to come soon your all brilliant and wonderful hosts.

Jim and Sue very good hosts, stayed in a double room with a sea view and tea/coffee facilities, room very tidy and clean and comfy bed. We filled in a breakfast sheet when we arrived which they did for our 2 night stay and you can change it if you don’t want the same everyday, also cereal, toast, tea/coffee machine and fridge with Yogurts and juices. Very nice bar/lounge and prices reasonable. Anything you wanted was never to much trouble, will definitely stop again.

It’s not far from the pleasure beach, there is a Pizza Hut and a fish and chip shop a short walk away. We went to a Wetherspoon called the velvet coaster across from the south pier, which had great food and service with outdoor/balcony seating area.

I would definitely recommend getting the tram pass. This will let you travel to all peers and back. It dose however stop just after 7pm, but the bus goes up and down all day and night. Tram and bus stop just across from hotel. Save your legs and get to see all of glorious Blackpool.

Sue and Jim are very welcoming and helpful. Their B&B has everything you need for an enjoyable stay; clean and comfortable rooms, a pleasant bar, lovely dining room with superb breakfast and a lovely sunlounge looking out on to the promenade.

The beach is right across the road, as are bus and tram stops to get into the centre. The South Pier, Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark are a short walk away. We enjoyed the restaurant at the Big Blue Hotel, very close by.

A lovely, spotless place with very friendly owners. Beds were really comfy and it was very clean. Toiletries were provided which we didn't expect. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. The bar was really cheap too with cards, dominoes and a pool table to keep you occupied.

The Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower and Madame Tussauds is definitely worth a visit and the good value for money. Pablo's serves lovely fish and chips and is cheap but serves lovely food. Plenty of trams and buses.
